Galerie Boquet is honored to participate in the inaugural edition of Sur Invitation.
From September 17 to 21, 2025, within the historic setting of the Pagode de Monsieur Loo, nestled in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement, a selection of exceptional galleries will unveil meticulously curated works: Old Master paintings, tribal art, sculptures, furniture, design, jewelry, Asian art, and modern art.
Designed as an intimate interlude, far from the bustle of major fairs, this rare event promises to be a moment of privileged discovery and exchange.

Organized as part of PHotoESPAÑA by the LOEWE Foundation under the curation of María Millán, this exhibition highlights Dora Maar's street photography and presents lesser-known drawings from a brief yet prolific period in her career.
We are very pleased to contribute to this exhibition by loaning 25 works (paintings, drawings, and notebooks) by Dora Maar.

As part of the ongoing celebrations for the centenary of the Villa Noailles, this exhibition brings together the paintings of Marie-Laure de Noailles with a selection of works reflecting aesthetic affinities, influences, and her circle: her work as an artist is placed within its historical and artistic context.
We are very happy to contribute to this exhibition with the loan of three drawings by Dora Maar, including a portrait of Marie-Laure de Noailles.

Julien Flak, a specialist in ancient arts from Africa, Oceania, and North America, has partnered with the young Boquet gallery, which has focused on 20th-century avant-garde movements since 2023. 'This fair is like a cocoon, a kind of boutique fair where one of my kachina dolls, “Thunder Maker,” from the former collection of the surrealist painter Enrico Donati, was able—thanks to Jules Boquet—to find its place next to a portrait by Dora Maar.'"

Established in 2012 in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, Galerie Lucas Ratton specializes in tribal art. The Chairman exhibition showcases a selection of 50 traditional African seats, highlighting the strong connection between the social function of the chair and its symbolic significance in many African societies.
We are thrilled to accept Lucas Ratton’s invitation to create an enriching dialogue between his exhibition and powerful works of modern art, emblematic of Galerie Boquet’s program.

The exhibition brings together for the first time the eight books of sketches made by Picasso during his stay in this French town on the Atlantic coast. It contextualises them along with other drawings, gouaches ans paintings produced during this period, as well as a group of works produced by his partner, the artist and photographer Dora Maar.
We are very happy to contribute to this exhibition with the loan of three drawings and a sketchbook by Dora Maar, all of them achieved in Royan at that time.
